JO&JOE Wien

Stayed for 4 nights in December 2023. Absolutely fantastic! Room was very clean and modern, and worth the price paid. I suffer from mobility issues so I was so glad that the request made in my booking for the lower bunk was attended to. Location wise, it is just a couple steps from the train and metro station which made going around Vienna a breeze. The best part of this hostel was the privacy screens to pull down on the beds. This really is amazing for anyone (like me) who is slightly on the fence about hostels. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

This was my first time staying in a hostel and I can say it was an amazing property. Staff are incredible and it is located right above Westbahnof subway station meaning you can get into city centre in less than 10 minutes. Extremely convenient and the walk into the city is also amazing along the street lined with shops. The beds are comfortable and clean and they are solidly built meaning no creaking noises in the middle of the night. The lockers are spacious and the washrooms are nice. The common areas are also very nice and the 7th floor roof top has incredible views.

great hostel--private with screens between the bed and outside. in each bed, there was a charging outlet, a light for the bottom bunk and drawers. good location, very close to the station. they have a cool space outside with pinball machines, a beer wall, and a photobooth. super nice staff and pretty clean area! great value for the cost and felt pretty safe as a female group.

I requested and received a bottom bunk in a 6-bed female dorm. I like the separate shower room and toilet. The only sink in the room was located in the shower room, which was not always convenient. Large common areas are available for groups to gather. Storage under the bed was adequate for my backpack. The shade on the bottom bunk was nice, although I didn't use it as I needed more air circulation. Even with 3 sets of bunk beds, there was plenty of room and did not feel crowded. The shower was excellent. However, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty. Conveniently located next to one of the train stations, unfortunately I arrived and left by a different station. Breakfast was simple and filling, but not a lot of choices. Coffee was excellent. Interesting fact that this hostel shares the building with IKEA. Although the elevator for Jo& Joe is clearly labeled I missed it next to the entrance to IKEA.
